- No Registration Required: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details to use any of the features within the App.
2. Local Device Storage
To support offline operation and improve user experience, the App stores certain configuration data and user preferences locally on your device:
- Bookmarks: The topics and misconceptions you bookmark are saved directly inside your device's local storage (using Android
SharedPreferences). This data stays entirely on your phone and is never uploaded to any remote servers. - Cached Verses: When you read a topic, the Quranic verses are loaded dynamically and cached on your device locally, allowing you to access them offline without requiring an active internet connection.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application connects to external APIs to fetch Quranic resources. These third-party services include:
- Al Quran Cloud API: We query
api.alquran.clouddynamically to fetch Uthmani Arabic scripture text, English translations, and Urdu translations. - Audio Recitations: Verse audio playback downloads/streams recitation mp3 files directly from
audio.alquran.cloud.
These external services process standard HTTP requests (such as your IP address) to serve files, but they do not collect personal data from you through our App. We do not integrate any third-party ads, user tracking, analytics packages, or marketing software.
4. Children's Privacy
Our Application does not collect any personal data. It is suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly target or collect information from children under the age of 13.
